The game ptuxmath allows you to practice simple arithmetic operations such as addition subtraction multiplication and division. In a kind of spaceinvaders the aliens have been replaced by meteorites which accompany a mathematical calculation that must be resolved before it hits the ground. The linux operating system mascot is the main character and controls a laser beam that can destroy enormous fire balls but to do so you will need to answer the operation correctly. Initial it seems easy but tuxmath gets complicated when negative numbers and calculations involving variables start appearing. Very fun and didactic tuxmath is an ideal application to promote the learning of numerical calculations.
