Source Code Organizer

Source Code Organizer is an application designed to help you write, organize and save your source code. It has syntax highlighting support for Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic .NET, Delphi, C#, C++, T-SQL, Java, JavaScript, XML, TeX, PHP, BAT, Coco, and HTML.It gives you the possibility to attach an image or file for every piece of code, as well as to export code in RTF format.

Needs .NET Framework to work properly

The source code editor isn't wrapped in a setup kit, so you can double-click the .exe file from the downloaded package to directly fire up Source Code Organizer. Also, you can keep it stored on a USB flash drive and run it on any PC with minimum effort. Just keep in mind that .NET Framework must be installed or it won't work.

Write source code and enable syntax highlights

As far as the interface is concerned, Source Code Organizer opts for a rudimentary-looking window with a neatly structured layout, where you can click the second button on the toolbar to put together a new project.The code editing area is on the right and displays line numbers. Meanwhile, the syntax highlights can be selected from the menu opened by the third button the toolbar, depending on the language you're working with.

Look up code and import contents from another database

It's possible to switch to fullscreen mode, save the page of code to file, create folders to sort files in a tree view displayed on the left side of the window, and edit code that was already saved.Moreover, you can look up text in the code title and content, import codes from another database file made with this program, export the tree view to PHP format for the web, take screenshots, and attach compressed files.

Basic source code manager

The application had minimal impact on the computer's performance in our tests. It provides you with a simple interface and approachable options for creating, saving and managing source code. However, you shouldn't expect richer options and configuration settings.
