Using it you can modify your pictures without needing to be connected to the internet as with the web version. It organizes all the available effects into categories that you can easily navigate. The first layer of tools is composed of graphic effects, airbrushing, overlays, borders, styles, stickers, and text, all divided into subcategories. All these effects can be stacked meaning that in just a few steps you can apply a frame remove red-eye blur noise in the photo and add post-production brightness with professional results. Just by creating an account on pixlr you can get instant access to many other effects which are also free. A paid pro version with a monthly subscription also adds many additional features like crop editing with brushes and other effects that bring it closer to multi-purpose suites like photoshop or g.
