Animated Screen Deluxe

However, you can still download and install the last released version.Animated Screen is a lightweight Windows application designed to help you create screensavers (SCR and EXE file format), animated GIFs or AVI files.You may customize the animations using images, text, shapes, and 3D objects, and tweak their appearance. In case you want to sell your screensavers, you can generate registration keys directly from the program’s interface.

User interface

The GUI provides a well-structured suite of feature but it cannot be described as highly intuitive so you need to dedicate some of your time to learn how to set up the dedicated parameters.Defining an animation can be done with the aid of a wizard-like approach that offers you step-by-step guidance throughout the entire configuration process.

Create a brand-new animation

You can generate an animation from several animation templates (e.g. Birthday, Mother’s Day) or add your own pictures (BMP, GIF, JPG) and AVI clips. Images can be displayed in a random order, as a slideshow or bouncing photos.Animated Screen lets you tweak several aspects about the animation properties, more specifically the background image, filling color and rotation angle, size, frames per second, and loop mode.

Configure settings with ease

You are given the option to preview the animations in full screen, play or stop them, add audio files (e.g. WAV, MID, MP3, AIFF), as well as embed blank sprite, simple text, 3D text, rectangles, ellipses, and several effects like snow, snowflakes, drops, bubbles, clouds, and stars.What’s more, the app helps you convert all images to RGB color, encode all photos to JPEG or GIF file format, mute the sound, compress screensavers, keep backup copies, automatically save the animation at a custom number of minutes, undo your actions, resize frames, and add transition effects (e.g. Blend, Fade, Grow, Distort, Split Edges).

Final words

There’s no doubt that Animated Screen comes packed with lots of fine-tuning parameters for designing animations but the GUI still needs a facelift to make the editing process easier to work with.
