Overview

What is Job Watcher?

monitors the Internet Newsgroups for new job listings.

In depth

A closer look at Job Watcher

It's a difficult task to keep up with the thousands of jobs posted on the Internet Newsgroups. Job Watcher comes with a list of over 400 Usenet newsgroups specifically targeted to job opportunities. You can select any number of Newsgroups to monitor, and easily add news ones to the list. Job Watcher will scan the latest messages for any given keywords in the message body or in the subject. You can set all the keywords that you want to know about and select others for which you wish to reject messages.

Another feature of JobWatcher allows you to set it for automatical updates at given intervals while you are on-line. You can start it running and let it run in the background while you do other work. It will compose a list of all the new messages that are posted which meet your requirements. You can then browse the messages when you have the time. You can also mark the messages with low, medium and high priority settings allowing you to rate the job offers as you go through them.
