It is an open source program that lets you easily use audible amazon's popular audiobook platform on your mac. You will be able to easily listen to any audiobook with this app. First thing you need to do for openaudible is link your audible account otherwise some of its features will not work. Alternatively if you don't have a user account you can create one. After linking your account you will be able to download all your audiobooks so that they are stored locally. Please note that some features of openaudible are not included in this free version of the program. For example you won't be able to import other audiobooks you already have on your hard drive to the client. Some of the older versions of the program which are no longer officially supported do have all the features enabled but these may cause problems for some users. Openaudible is a very interesting program for regular audible users as it allows for more control over your audiobooks. From within the client itself, you can also see all the relevant information about any of the available audiobooks: author, length, release date, and so on.
