A closer look at BringBack
BringBack offers easy to use, inexpensive, and highly successful data file recovery for WindowsTM & Linux (ext2) operating systems and digital images stored on memory cards, hardware RAID, etc. Supports FAT, FAT32, NTFS and Ext2 file systems with RAID 0 + 5 reconstruction capability. It also offers a (freeware) digital image recovery mode. BringBack recovers data even if the hard drive's partition table, boot record, FAT/MFT or root directory is lost or damaged due to virus attacks, accidentally formatted or repartitioned disks, power failures, accidental deletion etc.. BringBack can even reconstruct data of missing or corrupt RAID 5 members. During the recovery BringBack monitors the hard disk condition through observing SMART attributes, it will pause if needed (temperature too high) or warn if it is dangerous to continue.
