ChekOf is not an anti-virus program; it simply warns you if the macro security settings of Word 95; Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 97; and Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word 2000 have been lowered since it was launched.

The program carries out this check every 10, 20, or 30 seconds, also warning you at startup if any of the settings are set to low or are disabled.

In addition, you can enable and disable the VBA and Windows Scripting Hosts, which can be useful to counter the newer viruses that use these technologies.
