Talking E-mail is a cool mail checking utility that actually reads your incoming messages to you. The program checks your server for new mail and then has an animated cartoon figure read out the name of the sender, the subject, and up to 30 lines of the message body. It even lets you quickly launch your default e-mail program.

Talking E-mail takes advantage of Microsoft Agent technology, so you can select from different cartoon characters, each with their own unique sound and appearance. Multiple e-mail accounts are supported. WAV sound files can be used to notify you of new e-mail.
