is an Internet security system designed especially for dealing with Trojan connections.
When a connection is made to a computer running NetGuard, it is terminated and optionally traced using the "traceroute" and "whois" operations.
The program monitors popular Trojan ports continuously, and includes the option to monitor two custom ports on your local computer.
Along with the basic Trojan protection, it provides you with a client-to-server chat protocol, which lets you communicate with other users running NetGuard.
You can also send e-mail messages directly from the program, and log all connections and activities to a file.
It also runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
NetGuard runs on
Windows 95/98/Me/NT
