A closer look at MatchWare ScreenCorder

Everything that takes place, including mouse movements, is recorded. If you have a soundcard and a microphone attached to your computer, the sound can also be recorded.

The recording is saved as an AVI file that can be edited later. The program can export animated GIFs, and you can use your screen recordings on any Web page.

It uses 4-bit ADPCM compression, and allows you to select the recording area from which you can record. Your selection is visualized on the screen, allowing you to make adjustments.
