takes a "snapshot" of your files and directories, letting you monitor which programs are making changes.
Drive Watchdog creates and maintains a "snapshot" of all your directories and files. It helps you find out which files have been added or changed by software installation programs, including "Hidden" and "System" files. It also allows you to see which programs are causing certain files or directories to constantly grow. You can even use Drive Watchdog to catch anyone or anything that has been in your computer editing your files.
Whenever you run Watchdog, information about all of the files on your hard drive(s) is extracted and compared with this "snapshot". Any files that have been added, deleted, or changed in terms of size or modification date are reported to you in a simple report, which can be notated, stored, printed, or opened in any word processor.
