In depth

A closer look at ClimeCalc

There is a variety of weather information that can be calculated from a few basic pieces of information that are included in most weather reports. ClimeCalc is an application that allows users to calculate advanced weather information in exceptional detail, based on the temperature, humidity and air pressure. ClimeCalc is a complicated program in regards to its calculations, yet its presentation is a bit basic and simple. Everything is displayed in a single window, with no tabs or other areas, there are no settings or other features. The application operates with a series of text fields that change depending on how users edit the three main fields. Given the advanced subject matter of ClimeCalc, a few tooltips would be vast improvement, along with some help documentation. The lack of a any explanation of how the application works, as well as what some of more the technical aspects mean might leave several users lost, or some having an imperfect understanding.
