It supports all of the standard CD-ROM formats, including ISO levels 1 and 2, Joliet with 2-byte characters, mixed-mode, ISO Mode 1, and XA Mode 2. It supports ISO, ASCII and DOS character sets with user-selectable relaxations of ISO/Joliet requirements. It can dynamically convert filenames to ISO format. It has support for HFS, ISO/HFS-Hybrid, OFAS, and UDF and UDF-Bridge. It can create CDs that are bootable from the floppy disk or a hard drive partition.
For Audio CD recording, the program supports Track-at-Once and Disc-at-Once operation, extraction of multiple audio tracks, speed setting of digital audio extraction, playing tracks in digital and analog, format conversion "on-the-fly", variable pause-length, jitter and CRC-correction, and a variety of filters.
nero Burning ROM can also be used for CD copying and creating images of CD ROMs. There are a variety of burn options and the program supports all major CD-R and CD-RW recorders.
