It measures and reports on media load times, transfer rates, random access times, full-stroke access times, and file copying times. You can view the data graphically, and you can have Gpbench/CD optionally test to ensure that the correct data is returned when performing read operations. A CPU load measurement utility is included.

You can also have Gpbench/CD create a special test file which allows for very exact measurements.

This program was formerly called "cdBench32".
