If disaster strikes, Backup Exec’s Disaster Recovery function allows you to restore your system without first reloading your operating system or backup software.
You can back up your data to a wide variety of parallel, floppy, and SCSI/IDE tape devices, including most 4mm, 8mm, DC 2000, and DC 6000 tape devices.
Furthermore, support is available for most CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RAM, Jaz, LS120, PD/CD, SuperDisk, SyQuest, and Zip devices, and the File Specification feature lets you back up your files to hard disks, network drives, and any other mapped devices.
In addition, Backup Exec includes the ability to compare files, backup and restore wizards, and the ability to generate reports.
