The program features an Explorer-style interface, with all the major inventory categories labeled as folders on the left.
You can create custom inventory statistics. You can create formulas which you can apply to each inventory record, or in some cases, to the inventory as a whole. For example, you could create a statistic to calculate the net revenues generated for each sale, or you could calculate the current cost of your entire inventory. Once you create a statistic, they stay resident, and you can easily view their current values at any time you choose. You can also include them in reports.
The program also features powerful queries. You can associate a query to any of the previously mentioned folders on the left. Queries can be simple or complex, and you simply give the query definition a name and it is resident under the folder.
Small Business Inventory Control also features powerful reporting capabilities. You can include a list of records, applied to any named queries, and also use any named statistics. Reports are completely customizable, and are placed under their corresponding folder on the left for easy access. You create the template for the report, and any time you view the reports, it always includes the most current information.
