It can be used for cash sales (payment by cash, cheque, credit card, and electronic funds transfer), or invoicing. There is also a simple job-costing facility which can be used for quotations.
The features include: automatic item stock level tracking, low stock level visual and audible alarm, comprehensive search and sort options, automatic price calculations, serial numbering, discounting (currency, percentage, and auto-discounting), support for credits and returns, printing of receipts and invoices, till balancing, turnover tracking, barcode scanning (normal scanning and manual barcode entry), cash drawer support, touch screen support, a simple customer database, the ability to export ASCII output to serial port for transfer to electronic funds transfer machine (EFTPOS), multiple-tier security/access limits, support for value-added taxes (eg: VAT, GST), a variety of reports that can be viewed and printed, the ability to export data to Microsoft Excel, and more.
