provides an introduction to bar coding and a means to easily produce and implement bar codes.
KwikBar provides a stand alone program that allows you to observe the construction process involved with various bar code symbologies. You can copy a generated bar code to the clipboard and subsequently paste the bar code image to another running application that supports this method. A hotkey feature also enables bar code data in the form of a character string to be copied to the clipboard and converted to a bar code for eventual pasting back to the originating program.
The bar code True Type fonts and bar code DLL components supplied with this program have been designed to work with a range of Windows applications, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, and Visual Basic. These components enable a variety of bar code symbologies to be easily integrated into your own application software or used directly with the KwikBar bar code generation program.
KwikBar supports the following bar code symboligies: Standard Code 3 of 9; Standard Code 3 of 9, with Modulus 43 Checksum; Extended Code 3 of 9; Extended Code 3 of 9 with Modulus 43 Checksum; Standard Interleaved 2 of 5; Interleaved 2 of 5 with USS Checksum; Interleaved 2 of 5 with OPCC Checksum; Extended Code 93; Codabar; CLSI Codabar; MSI Plessey; EAN 13 and 8, UPCA 12 and E; EAN 14; UCC-EAN 128 SSCC; Code 128 Auto Start; and Code 128 Subset A, B, and C.
