The program provides a well-designed interface, along with dozens of wizards, for easily creating simple or complex installs. Most of the complex work can be handled without writing a line of code. This includes evaluating the operating environment, checking for existing files, moving, copying, and renaming files.

A cool feature of Installer Vise's is the ability to reverse engineer another installer by taking a snapshot of a computer and running an installation program. Installer VISE will detect all file and Registry changes that were made, then automatically create a new installer for you.

Other features of Installer Vise include: a powerful compression engine; support for floppy disk, CD-ROM, network or Internet distribution; the ability to create custom installation screens; a variety of built-in actions (such as writing Registry entries, running applications and creating shortcuts); the ability to display a license agreement; partial setup support; font installation; DirectX support; built-in product serialization; support for authenticode signing; and support for all versions of Windows.
