GLpro can display images quickly. It supports JPEG, GIF, BMP, PCX, TGA, TIFF, PIC and CLP formats as well as DFF, FLI and FLC animation formats. It also natively supports WAV, ADPCM and MP3 files. It can display animations, including FLI, FLC and GLPro's DFF format. The entire application, including images, fonts, sound and animations are embedded inside a single EXE or SCR file, without the need for any DLLs, drivers, VBXs, etc.
Other features include: native support for DBF databases, support for embedded on-the-fly anti-aliased TrueType fonts (with text shadowing, soft shadows, individual character manipulation and much much more), palette management (with support for 4-, 16- and 24-bit color modes), and a small memory footprint.
