Overview
is an editor for creating and maintaining assembly language source files.
In depth
Features of Asm Edit include: the ability to edit files up to 64K in length; the enter key is always a cursor motion key; an intelligent TAB key; emulation of most applicable WordStar commands; user configurable initial insert state and backspace key; a smart, column oriented cursor; the intelligent use of EOF; and a FORM7 filter.
In addition, Asm Edit automatically: inserts a semi-colon at the beginning of comment fields if none is there; appends colons on labels; strips trailing spaces and tabs; tabs from operand field to comment field; and transparently saves the file during keyboard inactivity.
Asm Edit lets you turn off the on screen status line, specify a default file extension, turn off audible feedback, and optionally fix keyboards with an incorrect layout of the control key. It also provides optional Greek language support.
