In depth
With platform games, you can assign a character to the joystick or keyboard using a single menu option. You can walk the character across a realistic 2D landscape, climbing ladders, bouncing off obstacles, and falling through traps. The background can be moved in any direction, using the tile scrolling options.
Adventure games lets you display locations using any combination of text or graphics. You can enter the user's commands using simple buttons, or directly from the keyboard, then choose your response from a range of actions or events. You can save the player's progress in an INI file, and return to the current problem at the start of the next session.
You can also create your own personalized screen-savers with animated artwork, moving banners, and scanned images of your family and friends. You can fade between screens using a vast range of transition effects.
Multimedia support is also included, allowing you to create product demonstrations or computer based training titles.
