It includes two native Delphi components, TXLSRead and TXLSWrite.

TXLSRead can read Microsoft Excel 2.1, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 95, 97, and 2000 files. All cell information is returned, including formulas and cell formatting. It also includes a seek function for fast access to single cells.

TXLSWrite can write Microsoft Excel 4.0 and 5.0, 95, 97, and 2000 files. You can read or write individual file records. Formulas and cell formatting can be written as well. TXLSWrite can write 100,000 cells in less than two seconds.

There is no need for any other files to be installed, including Microsoft Excel.
