The plot is generated using cross sectional planes or parametric equations. Root searching techniques are employed. Full source code is provided. The C++ base classes are portable to other platforms.

Other features of Plot3DF include: a user-selectable 3D view point, support for multiple views, support for hidden line removal, the ability to produce color gradient plots, clipping capability, image scaling, and the ability to copy an image to the clipboard for saving to disk.
