News Rover collects and decodes UUencoded and MIME attached files. It can find messages that match search expressions, automatically combine and decode files split across multiple messages, and eliminate duplicate files. News Rover allows you to browse and read messages and view pictures while it runs, or you can have the program run on schedule while you are not using your computer. It can also extract pictures into a gallery and create thumbnails that you can preview. It also has spam filtering and allows you to post messages, send replies and forward attachments.

Other features include: a built-in MP3 search engine, support for connecting to multiple news servers, keyword highlighting, password protection, integrated e-mail, auto-dialing, and powerful searching.
