It features a keep-alive function that prevents your ISP from pulling the plug on you for inactivity, and allows you to conduct a simple test to determine your connection speed. You current IP address is displayed. Traceroute and whois commands are included, along with an online timer and a utility to synchronize your PC's time with that of an atomic clock server. Proxy servers are supported, and skins can be used to customize the interface.
NetMonitor is user-friendly and quite attractive, and can be kept open on your desktop, or run in the background as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
