DUN Manager runs as an icon in your System Tray, allowing a dial-up networking connection to be started or stopped with a single click. It sends a "keep-alive" signal that prevents your ISP from dropping your connection due to inactivity. It also lets you view a performance graph that shows data flow speed. In addition, DUN Manager comes with several diagnostic tools, including Ping, Trace Route, Finger, and Address Lookup.

Other features of DUN Manager include: the ability to display a performance graph showing data flow speeds, one-click connection and hang-up, automatic disconnection options which prevent you from remaining online by accident, automatic disabling of call waiting before a call and enabling of call waiting after a call, detailed connection activity logs, session cost logs, program launching, and PC clock synchronization (using an Internet time server).
