Overview

What is ReallyEasyVoice?

is an Internet phone application designed to provide good sound quality, ease of use, and privacy.

In depth

A closer look at ReallyEasyVoice

Once installed, the program has you read some text into your microphone, and compares that with the background noise in your room to optimize reception. The next step is to give Really Easy Voice the e-mail addresses of your friends so it can send them download instructions. Once they have the program installed, Really Easy Voice lets you know whenever they are online. You just double click a user's name to hook up a private (because of the proprietary data format) two-way audio connection. It is as simple as that to have voice conversations with anyone in the world, using your PC. The sound quality is similar to what you get when you talk on a telephone line. Really Easy Voice also provides a text chat and mixed text/voice modes for those without microphones, and will let you know whenever software upgrades become available.
