is a program for analyzing genealogy files in the GEDCOM format.
.GEDCOM is a file format which allows genealogy files to be shared between different genealogy software applications. GEDCOM stands for GEnealogical Data COMmunications.
GEDCOM Analyzer performs two types of analysis. It can compare two GEDCOM files, create its own internal index of the records in the GEDCOM files, which then lets you browse and compare the common individuals in the two files. It can also compare a single GEDCOM file, create its own internal index of the records in the GEDCOM files, which then lets you browse and compare the loose ends such as missing parents or spouses, in the file.
GEDCOM Analyzer does not alter your GEDCOM files in any way.
