You can also process GEDCOM ancestor and descendant trees, as well as reports, and select all GEDCOM related individuals.

The program allows you to print heirloom-quality trees, including hourglass wall charts to display all ancestors and descendants of a person, customized border styles and colors, and images.

You can also print detailed family stories with full documentation, such as stories of your ancestors and descendants, indented descendancy books, Henry descendant books, and D'Aboville descendant books.

Family Origins lets you generate calendars with birthdays and anniversaries, address labels, Surname statistics lists, and missing information lists, and enables you to set the margins, headers, and footers for all printouts.

You can also attach sound clips, photographs, and video clips to any person; scan photos directly into the program; edit photos within it, including sharpness, brightness, and contrast; crop, rotate, and zoom your images; and put your family on the Web.

In addition, the program features a correspondence logger, a spell checker, a to-do list function, a date calculator, and much more.
