is a collection organizer for DVDs, laserdiscs, VCDs, and videotapes.
Simply enter the title of a movie, and DVD Dewey searches your choice of the Internet's best movie databases (such as IMdb, DVD File, DVD List, and Laserviews) to retrieve the most accurate and up-to-date information. This information is then locally available for you to browse, search, and create customized lists.
The DVD Dewey interface is similar in appearance to Microsoft Outlook. It automatically presents your collection in logical folders, such as "Owned," "Loaned," "Ordered," and "Wishlist," with sub-folders that further categorize your collection by genre, director, actors, and more. A powerful search engine allows simple and complex queries using any available field.
You can print fully customizable reports that include some or all of your discs, with varying amounts of information. The program can even help you watch prices and purchase DVDs on your wish list directly from popular Internet vendors.
