There are tools for creating 3D buttons and HTML maps and for optimizing the quality, size, and palette of JPG images. It also supports plug-ins and comes with screen capture and thumbnail image browsing capabilities

There are 16 types of brushes and 15 paper types, and PictureMan can import and save most types of bitmap graphics.
