Chaos Fx features a 2D painter, image processing and photo retouching tools, over 200 effects, a fractal and texture generator, screen capturing capabilities, more than 30 artistic brushes, and support for over 20 image formats, including BMP, DIB, EMF, GIF, IFF, JPG, MAC, PCX, PNG, PSD, TGA, and TIF.

It includes a powerful and easy-to-use image composer module. Elements of compositions (texts, images, and so on) or sprites can be moved, stretched, grouped, ungrouped, and more to enable you to create complex images.

You can also edit each sprite as a "normal" image; modify it (color and transparency); and apply to it any available filter and effect.
