A closer look at MarkXY
MarkXY lets you extract pixel positions like data points from plots which you only have in a graphics format, such as graphs scanned in from papers, or plots pasted in word processor files. The pixel data is saved in simple text files, which may be imported into files such as spreadsheets or data analysis programs. There it can be converted back to the units used in the original plot, and then used for further analysis.
