is a nice set of seven desktop viewing and measurement tools.
In depth
A closer look at ZoomTools
With ZoomTools, you can enlarge portions of the screen up to 8x, as with a "magnifying glass." You can capture screen shots through the viewing "lens" to the Clipboard, or directly to your printer. The program excels at making measurements of on-screen graphics. It has horizontal and vertical rulers (in several colors). There is a "tape measure" that you can drag to find the angle and distance (in any direction) from an "anchor point." A "color analyzer" provides coordinate, RGB, and HLS information for any viewable pixel. The program's full-screen "level" (or "crosshair") tool can help you align graphics. Measurements are in inches, centimeters, millimeters, points, picas, TWIPS, pixels, or custom units. There is also a "spot magnifier".
