Initially, setting the drawing scale automatically sets line type scales, text styles and heights, pipe fitting sizes, layers, and so on.
The electrical symbol routines are set up to insert lighting fixtures, emergency lighting, motors, switches, receptacles, panels, disconnects, starters, and more.
The HVAC routines are set up to insert diffusers, grilles, duct drops and rises, duct takeoffs, elbows, transitions, turning vanes, reheat coils, VAV boxes, internal and external insulation, and more.
Plumbing symbol-insertion routines are simple to use. The program orients the symbol, sizes it to the drawing scale, and performs all the required line trimming. Symbols adopt the layer of the line in which they are inserted.
EZ DRAFT 2000 includes built-in functions for ellipse, equipment, and diffuser symbol designations, as well as arrow- and loop-leader routines.
