is an AutoCAD add-on which allows you to create feature-based 3D models as easily as 2D drawings.
Auto-Z lets you select an existing 2D multi-view drawing and build an AutoCAD solid model. In many cases, it can build a complete 3D model with no user input.
When the program generates a partial model, its easy-to-use, intuitive manual tools enable you to add additional features.
As with AutoCAD, Auto-Z offers the three basic solid modeling methods: extrude, revolve, and intersect. The difference however, is that you no longer have to edit your 2D drawings to make closed entities like polylines. Moreover, you no longer have to change or manipulate the UCS in order to figure out where you are in 3D space.
In addition, the program includes a browser function which lets you rearrange the order in which features in your solid are built, so you can turn subtracted portions into whole portions and vice versa, eliminate features from your solid, and rebuild the solid after you have made a change to the 2D drawings.
