The game features state-of-the-art 3D technology that puts you in the action with beautifully rendered courses. Real golf holes from Myrtle Beach courses have been recreated to let you play an ultra-realistic best of the best. Take a quick shot at Long Drive and Hole in One, or dig in for Multi-Round Tournaments. There are four swing modes, combined with unique player shot characteristics, which make for a golf simulation so realistic you can learn to improve your real course management skills. You can add to your gaming experience with course add-ons, new player models and updates and you can play with friends on your Local Area Network, or make new friends with integrated Internet matchmaking.
The following courses are available on a course compilation CD: "The Heather" (based on an actual course in northern Michigan), "Waterlefe Golf and River Club" (based on an actual course in Manatee County, Florida), and "Pine Beach" (a fantasy course designed to appear to be on the Pacific Ocean in northern California). These courses are available through a "course add-on" screen built into AboutGolf.com World Tours.
