Overview

What is ODBC Explorer?

enables you to use visual tools to connect and send queries to any ODBC compliant database or hierarchical display of database objects.

In depth

A closer look at ODBC Explorer

With ODBC Explorer, you can connect to and explore any ODBC-compliant database; enter, edit, store, retrieve, and run SQL commands; create SQL statements with DDL and DML wizards; run SQL scripts; and deploy a set of results to a Web server, or multiple Web servers.

You can also retrieve a number of language features such as outer joins and scalar function calls if they are supported by your current ODBC driver.

ODBC Explorer allows you to format, store, and print query results in the form of reports. The results can be exported in HTML, CSV, Tab delimited, and TXT formats. You can also use ODBC Explorer to obtain information about the data source's system tables.
