Overview

What is KServer?

is a client server application for querying ODBC databases and text files over an intranet or the Internet.

In depth

A closer look at KServer

KServer includes parsers for RTF, HTML and MIF (FrameMaker Interchange Format), and Trados exported translation memories. Database queries are done as SQL queries and work with any ODBC database correctly set up in the Windows ODBC data sources control panel.

For fast retrieval the text files can be loaded into RAM, and stored in a compressed format.
