Neural Networks are used to detect hidden relations in a set of patterns, such as stock market or weather data.

Pythia features "backpropagation" networks, where the network parameters (weights) are initially set to random values. During the “training phase”, the actual output of the network is compared with the desired output, and any error is propagated back toward the input of the network.

The program enables you to import data from different file formats as well as spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel; design and train neural networks; and store both data and networks on disk.

"Evolutionary Optimizer" is a special feature of Pythia that can automatically generate suitable networks for a given training data set. It uses evolutionary algorithms for the selection and generation of neural networks.
