allows you to perform composite materials analysis as described in the textbook "Introduction to Composite Materials Design" (1998).
CADEC covers five chapters from the book: Micromechanics, Ply Mechanics, Macromechanics, Failure Theory, and THin Walled Beams. It lets you perform laminate analysis, failure predictions, laminate equivalent properties computations, analysis of thin-walled composite beams of arbitrary cross-section under bending and torsion, and more.
You navigate through the chapters like you do in a Web browser, with context sensitive help and fully cross-referencing to the textbook.
In addition, the program features an external conversion utility which includes conversions to and from various units of temperature, volume, acceleration, mass, power, pressure, distance, density, area, and more.
