A closer look at TrapWords

TrapWords enables two to four contestants (the computer can also be a player) to engage in a battle of wits to become master of this high strategy word game.

Each opponent places letters on the screen board, forming words in any direction they choose: straight, staggered, reversed, or upside down.

After each turn, players are scored based on the point value of the word. The rewards are greater for those skillful enough to master the ultimate goal: the TrapWords Trap.

The player with the highest score wins the game and becomes the supreme Trapmaster.

The program includes an automatic timer, a dictionary, animation and sound, automatic scoring, a spell checker, and the ability to save games.
