A noticeable improvement in performance and productivity can be observed after tweaking Windows with WinWizard. Typically, it optimizes Dial-Up Networking settings for PCs using a telephone line for Internet access.
The program's screen is divided into eight subscreens. The "General" subscreen allows you to change the location of special folders such as Favorites, "Explorer" lets you display bitmaps as icons, "System Screens" allows you to change the Windows Startup and Shutdown screens, and "Desktop Icons" lets you change various default icons such as the Recycle Bin.
The "Add/Remove" subscreen allows you to modify or delete entries in the Windows Add/Remove Programs list, "AutoRun" lets you add to or delete from the programs loaded by Windows at startup, "Clear" allows you to erase the contents of various folders such as the Internet Explorer History, and "Internet" lets you modigy the TCP/IP settings.
