File Wrangler has a variety of functions for helping you manage your files. It can ZIP and unZIP files, and it can create self-extracting EXE files. It has a built-in file viewer, FTP utility, file backup utility, file splitter and unsplitter, application scheduler, and a built-in editor.

There are also functions for encrypting and decrypting files, formatting disks, sending directory listings to the file or printer, creating "patch files" (which update previous versions of a file), modifying file attributes, copying disks, splitting files across several disks, and viewing images, e-mail messages, and HTML files.
