The program monitors all running applications, recording the date, time, user name, and window title. The log file is automatically formatted in HTML, using different color and font styles for different types of events.

SpyPC includes password protection, the ability to run automatically at Windows Startup, log file encryption, a stealth mode, and the ability to adjust the time delay between monitoring sessions.

It runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
