Overview

What is WinLog?

logs when your PC was booted.

In depth

A closer look at WinLog

It logs the date, time and user name of the person who booted it. It is mildly encrypted and CrC checked to determine if it has been tampered with. Winlog has the ability to secure the Graphical Interface for viewing the log with password protection. The log may be saved unencrypted in a text file, printed out, or copied to the Windows Clipboard.

WinLog can be used for performance and use monitoring of a PC. It can also be used for security applications, since it not only shows when a PC was booted, but by whom.
