Use SysProtect Desktop Shield to put the clamps on your desktop when you step away from your PC. It's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done at a price that can't be beat. SysProtect Desktop Shield provides a handy system-tray menu to quickly apply the protection as needed. The desktop is hidden and function keys are disabled until the proper password is supplied.

Available options include running your screen saver when your desktop is protected, and an automatic lockdown when your computer is idle for a certain number of minutes. Autoload with Windows is also offered, but autolock with Windows is not.
