is a utility that runs in the background to provide audio alerts for any timed events, such as the regular appearance of powerups in online games.
Hotkeys tell the timer to start, restart, or stop from any application. You can hear alerts even if the Windows sound system is busy because Powerup Timer uses the built in PC speaker or a midi device. Two or more Powerup Timers can run simultaneously with different settings to provide audio alerts for multiple events. You can store or load Powerup Timer INI files for your customized timer settings.
The program uses a periodic cycle, and can give you a number of audible warnings each cycle. For instance, it can divide a one minute cycle into six parts and thus warn you every ten seconds. The first warning per cycle would have one beep (a pitch and duration customizable sound), the second would have two beeps, and so forth. At the beginning of each cycle, the number of warning beeps starts back at one. You can also specify how many cycles you want to repeat.
